OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We leave ‘no stone unturned’ as per our motto. We unleash talents and all the potential lying dormant within any child. Our belief system here at Brainyac Preschool is all children can learn at their own pace, all children are unique and equal irrespective of creed or colour. Our main objective is to lay a solid foundation ahead of formal school years. We are prepared to groom well behaved, well mannered and independent individuals that will uphold themselves as the best leaders this continent can ever comprehend. We strongly believe in Proverbs 22 verse 6.

CHILDREN’S CLOTHING
All clothes must be properly labeled. In case of emergencies, one set of clothing should be kept at the school at all times.
EDUCATIONAL TRIPS
We have three big educational trips per year. These trips are curriculum oriented. We also have short trips to Cotlands every second Thursday of the month. Cotlands is an early childhood development resource centre where our children go for reinforcement of the theme of the week.
HEALTH RECORDS
It is of utmost importance for the parent to submit the immunization record of the child to school as required by law. All visits to the clinic for immunization are the sole responsibility of the parent. All parents are to sign the medication record giving the school permission to administer a dose of paracetamol in case the child is not feeling well. Parents will be informed immediately when the child is sick. Children with contagious diseases must be kept at home to prevent the outbreak at the school. No child will be allowed back without a note from the doctor
PARENTS MEETING
There will be two parents’ meetings and two open days per year. Open days are teacher-parent sharing sessions. Reports will be handed out twice a year June and December.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
During school holidays there will be no formal teaching, as most of the children stay at home with their brothers and sisters. Therefore we run a school holiday programme to keep those at school occupied until the schools reopen. Our school will be closed on public holidays and when the holiday is on Tuesday then the Monday will also be taken as a holiday, same applies to Thursday then Friday will be a considered a holiday as well.
SWIMMING
Swimming is compulsory. Every Tuesdays and Fridays until 28 March, weather permitting, the children will attend swimming lessons. Another season will start on the 25th of September until the 28th of November 2014.
